National Adoption Month

November marks National Adoption Month, which is dedicated to raising awareness of children in the foster care system and celebrating the achievements of adoptees. The library offers books for children of all ages who are either looking to understand the experiences of people in adopted families or are adoptees or foster children themselves. The moods can range from funny to sweet to poignant. The books on our list are just a small selection; head over to your local Mid-Continent branch to find something that is just right for your family. *List created by Heather at our Green Hills Library Center*
