A bride-to-be convinced she's cursed in romance finds her luck changing--at exactly the wrong time. Maya Mirza is so convinced she's unlucky in love that she's come up with a list of laws to explain it. Most importantly... Maya's Law #1: Anything that can go wrong will go wrong. But that's about to change. Maya's headed to Pakistan for an arranged marriage with a handsome, successful doctor who ticks all the right boxes. First comes marriage, then comes love--she's sure of it. Except... Law #4: When you think you're lucky, think again. From the start, Maya's journey is riddled with disaster, and the cynical lawyer seated next to her on the plane isn't helping. When a storm leaves them stranded in Switzerland, she and Sarfaraz become unlikely travel companions through bus breakdowns and missed connections. Law #6: Trips are never smooth sailing. And before long, Maya's wondering whether she's just experienced the ultimate in misfortune--finally meeting the right man a few days before she marries someone else. And Maya might just be the worst person to keep a secret. Law #18: If you're overtired, you'll always spill your guts. But maybe, if she's willing to bend some laws, this detour could take her somewhere totally--and wonderfully--unexpected.

Justin has a curse, and thanks to a Reddit thread, it's now all over the internet. Every woman he dates goes on to find their soul mate the second they break up. When a woman slides into his DMs with the same problem, they come up with a plan: They'll date each other and break up. Their curses will cancel each other's out, and they'll both go on to find the love of their lives. It's a bonkers idea... and it just might work. Emma hadn't planned that her next assignment as a traveling nurse would be in Minnesota, but she and her best friend agree that dating Justin is too good of an opportunity to pass up, especially when they get to rent an adorable cottage on a private island on Lake Minnetonka. It's supposed to be a quick fling, just for the summer. But when Emma's toxic mother shows up and Justin has to assume guardianship of his three siblings, they're suddenly navigating a lot more than they expected--including catching real feelings for each other. What if this time Fate has actually brought the perfect pair together?

Coming from a moderately traditional Muslim family, twenty-seven-year-old Samira Abdel-Aziz has endured her fair share of arranged matches--first dates she calls "doorknock appeals," where she and her possible suitors eat snacks in her living room in the company of both sets of parents. Her general rule: no shoes with tassels, no cheesy leather jackets, no mustaches. A girl has to have some standards, right? The truth is, Samira is already experiencing enough wedding drama as an assistant at Bridal Bazaar magazine and as a gofer for her soon-to-be-married cousin and nemesis Zahra. She's not sure she needs to add any of her own. When she meets the charismatic Menem at a work retreat, Samira finds herself intrigued. But her best friend Lara insists Menem isn't right for her, and now her childhood friend Hakeem has begun behaving oddly. Adding to the confusion, Samira is seeking a promotion at work, yet isn't sure it's the job of her dreams. Suddenly, her life is full of drama and complications, and she realizes that part of growing up is making difficult choices about what--and whom--she really wants.

Samara Reynolds has built a large following as a gamer under an anonymous screenname, and uses her skills as a DEIA consultant to advocate for equal representation in video games. When she posted a video critiquing the popular game Legendsfall, she knew she'd get a reaction from her fans, but the video leads to hundreds of female gamers critiquing the game and its company, Artemis Games. The only thing more unexpected than starting an online movement is getting a job offer from the handsome CEO of Artemis. Aron Galanis has been on a mission to get his company certified to create gaming content for people with disabilities. When he sees Artemis trending online for all the wrong reasons, he's determined to right his wrongs and offers the originator a mea culpa, as well as a job offer to overhaul the character options in Legendsfall. Working together turns Aron and Samara from adversaries into allies, allies into friends, and after that--something more. But once their relationship goes public, will Aron and Samara be able to weather the storm and fight for their happy ending, or is it game over?

Grace Henderson has been a star of the US Women’s National Team for ten years, even though she’s only 26. But when she’s sidelined with an injury, a bold new upstart, Phoebe Matthews, takes her spot. 22-year-old Phoebe is everything Grace isn’t—a gregarious jokester who plays with a joy that Grace lost somewhere along the way. The last thing Grace expects is to become teammates with benefits with this class clown she sees as her rival. Phoebe Matthews is too focused on her first season as a professional soccer player to think about seducing her longtime idol. But when Grace ends up making the first move, they can’t keep their hands off of each other. As the World Cup approaches and Grace works her way back from injury, a miscommunication leaves the women with hilariously different perspectives on their relationship. But they’re on the same page on the field, realizing they can play together instead of vying for the same position. With every tackle the tension between them grows, and both players soon have to decide what's more important—being together or making the roster.

Riley Rhodes finally has the chance to turn her family's knack for the supernatural into a legitimate business when she's hired to break the curse on an infamous Scottish castle. Used to working alone in her alienating occupation, she's pleasantly surprised to meet a handsome stranger upon arrival-until he tries to get her fired. Fresh off a scandal, Clark Edgeware can't allow a self-proclaimed "curse breaker" to threaten his last chance for professional redemption (or his traitorous heart). After he fails to get Riley kicked off his excavation site, he vows to avoid her. Unfortunately for him, she vows to get even. Riley expects the curse to do her dirty work by driving Clark away, but instead, they keep ending up on top of each other. Turns out, the only thing they do better than fight is fool around. If they're not careful, by the end of all this, more than the castle will end up in ruins.

Two sisters roll up their sleeves to run a dilapidated beach-town inn but must learn to work with the current tenants in this deliciously spicy reimagining of Jane Austen's Sense and Sensibility. Nora needs a reinvention fast. But where can you go when the entire internet knows your face? (And ass... but Nora tries not to talk about that.) After discovering at her father's funeral that she and her sister, Yanne, have lived their entire lives as his secret second family, everything they had is gone. Well, there is one thing left-a dilapidated beach house on its way to foreclosure in Maine. All Nora has to do is pay back the foreclosure loan in nine months and she can start over. She needs the do-over after her ex leaked their sex tape and Nora's O-face became the internet's favorite meme. She decamps for coastal Maine with her sister, but they haven't even knocked the traveling dust off last season's designer boots when the first problem pops up: a squatter who has claimed their property as his own-and is hotter than the local lobster boil. From the moment Ennis "Bear" Freeman sees these two city sisters, he knows they won't last here. But that doesn't mean he can't fix his struggling ecotourism business with the money they supply to revamp the inn. As an Indigenous person native to Maine, Ennis has every reason not to trust another outsider claiming land they have no rights to. He has his own secrets, ones that threaten to destroy his business and his reputation. But as they work side by side, he's afraid Nora may be the key to more than just his financial happiness. His best course of action? Stay away. But that's easier said than done.

When Seth, Meghna's one-who-got-away writing partner and best friend, asks Meghna Raman to be the "best man" for his last-minute wedding, Meghna is determined to move on, even if it means telling her mother she's finally open to an arranged marriage. Since she-a theater teacher and an aspiring playwright-won't fulfill her parents' dreams of becoming an engineer, she might as well marry one. Grumpy, handsome, no-nonsense engineer Karthik Murthy has seen enough of his parents' relationship to know marriage is not for him. He only agreed to his mom's matchmaking attempts to make her happy, never dreaming he'd meet someone as vibrant as Meghna. Though he can't offer a real marriage, a fake engagement could help him avoid the absurd number of arranged set-ups his mother has planned for the next year. Thinking a faux fiancé will dampen the sting of her ex's wedding festivities, Meghna agrees to team up with Karthik until the wedding ends. But as they find common ground and their undeniable chemistry takes shape, their expectations and insecurities threaten to risk something that's become a lot more real than they had hoped.

When Ari and Josh meet the first time, the wrong kind of sparks fly. They hate each other. Instantly. A free-spirited, struggling comedian who likes to keep things casual, Ari sublets, takes gigs, and lives by a code that ensures her friends-with-benefits stay firmly in the friendzone. She doesn't believe in morning sex because she never sleeps over. Born-and-bred Manhattanite Josh has ambitious plans: he'll take the culinary world by storm, find The One, and make her breakfast in his spotless kitchen. They have absolutely nothing in common ... except that they happen to be sleeping with the same woman. After their disastrous first meeting, Ari and Josh never expect their paths to cross again. But years later, as they're both reeling from ego-bruising breakups, a chance encounter leads to a surprising connection: friendship. Turns out, spending time with your former nemesis is fun when you're too sad to hate each other--and too sad for hate sex. As friends-without-benefits, they find comfort in late night Netflix binges, swiping through each other's online dating profiles, and bickering across boroughs. It's better than romance. Until one night, the unspoken boundaries of their platonic relationship begin to blur.

Opposites attract when a free-spirited American singer-songwriter with ADHD teams up with a charming Irishman to revitalize his family's pub in the next heartfelt romance from the author of Luck and Last Resorts. Raine Hart is used to the challenges of living with ADHD. It's why she ditched her life in Boston to busk around Europe as a traveling musician. No boss. No schedule. No one to disappoint but herself. But when a careless mistake in Ireland leaves her unable to perform, she sees no other option but to give up her nomadic life. Since inheriting the Local, Jack Dunne has wanted to make the pub his own. But the baggage of running a family business and the intrusive thoughts that stem from his OCD make changing things a challenge. Over a pint with handsome, tattooed Jack, Raine accidentally insults him and the pub. Instead of taking offense, Jack is impressed by her vision of what the pub could be and offers her a job bringing it to life. But when Raine and Jack develop feelings for one another their opposite lifestyles won't accommodate, it becomes clear the pub isn't the only thing that needs reinventing. As the end of their business collaboration draws near, they'll have to find a way past the limits they've placed on themselves or let go of a love that could last a lifetime.

Gwen has a brilliant beyond brilliant idea. It’s 1857, and anxious debutante Beth has just one season to snag a wealthy husband, or she and her mother will be out on the street. But playing the blushing ingenue makes Beth’s skin crawl and she’d rather be anywhere but here. Gwen, on the other hand, is on her fourth season and counting, with absolutely no intention of finding a husband, possibly ever. She figures she has plenty of security as the only daughter of a rakish earl, from whom she’s gotten all her flair, fun, and less-than-proper party games. “Let’s get them together,” she says. It doesn’t take long for Gwen to hatch her latest scheme: rather than surrender Beth to courtship, they should set up Gwen’s father and Beth’s newly widowed mother. Let them get married instead. “It’ll be easy” she says. There’s just…one, teeny, tiny problem. Their parents kind of seem to hate each other. But no worries. Beth and Gwen are more than up to the challenge of a little twenty-year-old heartbreak. How hard can parent-trapping widowed ex-lovers be? Of course, just as their plan begins to unfold, a handsome, wealthy viscount starts calling on Beth, offering up the perfect, secure marriage. Beth’s not mature enough for this… Now Gwen must face the prospect of sharing Beth with someone else, forever. And Beth must reckon with the fact that she’s caught feelings, hard, and they’re definitely not for her potential fiancé. That’s the trouble with matchmaking: sometimes you accidentally fall in love with your best friend in the process.

Oxford 1360 When his sister’s betrothed vanishes the night before her politically arranged marriage, Raff Barden must track and return the elusive groom to restore his family’s honour. William de Foucart — known to his friends as Penn — had no choice but to abandon his fiancé, and with it his own earldom, when he fled the night before his enforced marriage. But ill-equipped to survive on the run he must trust the kindness of a stranger, Raff, to help him escape. Unaware their fates are already entwined, their unexpected bond deepens into a far more precious relationship, one that will test all that they hold dear. And when secrets are finally revealed, both men must decide what they will risk for the one they love.

Two former high school sweethearts get a second chance in this marriage of convenience romance by Kristina Forest, author of The Neighbor Favor. To Violet Greene, fashion is everything. As a successful celebrity stylist, she travels all over the world, living out her dreams. Professionally, she's thriving, but her personal life is in shambles. After surviving a very public breakup with her ex-fiancé six months ago, Violet is now determined to focus on her career. But life hands her something-or rather, someone-that might derail everything... Xavier Wright did not expect to run into his high school girlfriend Violet-the girl he once thought he'd marry-on a birthday trip to Vegas. As a high school teacher and basketball coach, he rarely leaves his New Jersey hometown, so what were the chances? But when the initial shock wears off, they decide to celebrate together. They feel young and reckless as they party the night away-and reckless they clearly were when the following morning, they wake up beside each other with rings on their fingers. Their impulsive nuptials might be a blessing in disguise, though, when they realize that both of their careers could benefit from the marriage. So they play the part of a blissfully wedded couple. Yet when their passion comes hurling back, they realize their feelings are just as real as they were back when they were teens. But are their lives too different to stick it through or will they finally get a happy ending?
