Forty years ago, China made the discovery of a lifetime: dragons are real. Now the Chinese are ready to unveil this secret in the form of the greatest zoo ever built. A group of VIPs and journalists is brought in to the zoo for the first time, assured that everything is safe and that nothing can go wrong. This book is like Jurassic Park in all the right ways, but taken to the next step in some of them. But only because of a few plot points in the beginning and the fact that it takes place in a park. It gives me a great feeling of nostalgia, but it’s different enough to be different from Jurassic Park. It’s full of literally non-stop action, which is only a bad thing if you’re like me and read before you go to sleep. Otherwise there’s nothing wrong with that. And it really makes you ask the questions “How far is too far.” My compliments to Matthew Reilly.
