Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone is a fictional book about a world with wizards. Harry Potter is a young boy that lost both his parents to Voldemort, an evil wizard. He enters his first year at wizarding school in Hogwarts with his friends getting into all sorts of trouble and adventures. This book is tailored toward a younger audience through some of the playful mysteries and is still entertaining to older readers with the dark, dangerous adventures. I liked this book because it is a childhood classic, intriguing with all the dangerous adventures leading up to a big standoff. I would rate this book a 4.5 out of 5 since sometimes the plot is unnecessarily slow. Harry Potter would be a good book for 10+ fiction/adventure readers.
