This series is a mess. I kept trying to watch it; but there were no sympathetic characters. From the start, the main character shows himself to be a complete a..hole. You want to like the abused rookie partner, but he also shows himself to be an a..hole. DO NOT BOTHER!
This was an ACORN disappointment.

Its a very interesting show to say the least that deals with everyday life experiences, but its very unrealistic @ times. Imagine this is a cop show but they don't follow the rules- driving without a seat belt for example. They issue tickets driving without a seat belt & yet in this show they don't wear it themselves. A policeman driving intoxicated while on the job. A cop that's Abusive to his wife & his cop friends don't arrest him & get him some help he needs.

A good series.. Wonderful acting! Unfortunately, the stories are cheapened with too many sex scenes!

Very slow start suggested double writing and acting fail but it improves. Follows the same, tired format of its zillion predecessors - the private and professional lives of rozzers. Same old, same old but featuring the unique setting of Montreal, one of the increasingly few cities in Canada with any visual charm not yet supplanted by an infection of modern, kennel-sized leaky condos.

This is not an action TV program.
If you are expecting action, it is not for you.
I like it very much.
The script describes the deeper thought in police officers when they face challenges.
I am waiting for the DVD of season 2.
Others told me that season 2 & 3 are getting better and better.

What I liked about this series was the way it depicted a policeman's day as mostly routine, minor encounters. The interest lies in the way that different policemen respond differently and the conversations that result. I also liked the way it explored the lives of its subjects away from the job.

This Canadian series set in Montreal manages to make this beautiful city look like the south Bronx. I thought that it was boring, cliched, and slow-paced. Not really worth watching.
