Blindsided by a shocking betrayal in her promising career, Charlotte, a gifted musician, takes a nanny gig to lick her wounds and figure out her next move as a composer in New York. As it turns out, she's naturally good with children and becomes as fond of the two little boys as they are of her. When a tragedy leaves the family bereft, Charlotte isn't the only one to realize that she's the key to holding the children's world together. Now she faces an impossible choice: her life-long dreams or the torn-apart family she's come to love

I loved this book. Anyone who has been around children can so easily relate to the incidents. Being a caregiver can be overwhelming when the child is yours. Being the main caregiver when the father and children are trying to cope with the loss of the wife/mother is heroic.
