Quite an interesting, if nearly interminable, book. You'll certainly learn that the US was the "arsenal of democracy" in more than one way; the US in the '40's might just have been the only nation that could win a two-front war AND help feed the rest of the world. Lots of detail... often quite disgusting... and that's just what the US troops were eating. For the rest of the world... even more horrifying. Well worth your time to look at an unconventional history of WWII.
