Join us for a special screening of the award-winning documentary film The Librarians.
The Librarians takes a deep dive into current censorship attempts in the library world.
From school to public libraries, director Kim A Snyder uncovers the tense battles librarians face to uphold peoples' freedom to read.
Now screening in over 200 theaters including PBS, winner of 22 festival awards, New York Times Critic’s Pick, and named by the Guardian as one of the top 50 films of 2025, The Librarians is a must see for anyone who supports their libraries and community.
Copies of Amanda Jones' part memoir, part manifesto, That Librarian: The Fight Against Book Banning in America will be handed out at the end of the screening while supplies last. Featured in the documentary, Amanda's book chronicles her journey of advocating for free speech and readers in her community.
