Description

This program will give emerging writers a chance to get the fundamentals they need to write for school and for pleasure! Attendees will learn the components of a good story (character, setting, problem, goal, resolution) through instruction, brainstorming, and guided writing activities. Kids will have time to start writing their own story too!


*This program is best for kids, ages 6-10

**Space is limited. Please arrive early to get a ticket, which will be passed out 15 minutes prior to the event. Attendance cannot be guaranteed for people who show up after the class in full as supplies are limited.

An ASL (American Sign Language) interpreter or closed captioning can be provided for this program if requested at least seven business days in advance. For assistance, please contact your library or accessibility@aclibrary.org.
