Share nature with others on a walk along the Alamo Canal Regional Trail
Let's take a stroll along the Alamo Canal! We should see plenty of birds, plants, and perhaps some aquatic and terrestrial wildlife. Learn about the many creatures and plants that call the canal home, and share your knowledge of plants and wildlife with others.

About the walk: Meet at the library entrance. We will pick up the trail just behind the library and walk at a leisurely pace for about 1/2-hour and then turn and walk back to the library. The trail is asphalt paved with little to no shade. Hats are recommended. Please bring your own water if needed.
About the trail: The Alamo Canal Regional Trail is a paved bike and pedestrian path that runs along the east side of the Alamo Canal/Creek in a residential/light industrial area of Dublin. Just under 1 mile long, the trail is part of the East Bay Regional Parks Regional Trail system. It passes behind the Dublin Library and connects Pleasanton's Centennial Trail to the Dublin portion of the Iron Horse Trail.
