Bias tape and ribbons are often used in sewing to secure and decorate what we make. Ribbons are used to hold a seam in place, while bias tape can follow the curve. Learn about the versatility of bias tape and how to make it.
About the instructor: Denise Patterson is a member of the Alameda Chapter of the American Sewing Guild, a national community of sewists. We invite all levels of ability to join us and we share a wide variety of interests.
This program takes place in The Spark and is for adults. All participants must have their own library card and a signed waiver on file. Registration is required; walk-ins will be accommodated 10 minutes after the program starts if space allows.
