Registration begins Monday, January 12, 2025

The AARP Foundation Tax-Aide program provides in-person tax preparation free of charge, with a focus on taxpayers who are seniors or have low to moderate income. The program, jointly sponsored by the IRS and AARP, provides trained volunteers to assist with most Federal and California State income tax preparation and e-filing.

Appointments can be made in person at the library reference desk or by phone (510-608-1155).  Appointments are available every Wednesday and Thursday, beginning Feb 5, 2026, through April 9, 2026, from 10am until 2:15pm.

Library staff may take photos, videos, or audio recordings at our events. Please tell us if you do not wish to be photographed, video-recorded, or audio-recorded. We will always respect your requests!
