Description

Join us for hands on science experiments with Science Lab!

This DIY Battery experiment explores chemical energy by making a battery from common materials—like lemons, or salt water. Using copper and zinc electrodes, students create enough voltage to power a small LED.

Science Lab is a teen lead program. Supplies are limited, please register for this workshop. Please arrive within the first 5 minutes to secure your spot, otherwise walk-ins will be accepted.

This program is designed for kids 8-12 years old.

Library staff may take photos, videos, or audio recordings at our events. Please tell us if you do not wish to be photographed, video-recorded, or audio-recorded. We will always respect your requests!

An ASL (American Sign Language) interpreter or closed captioning can be provided for this program if requested at least seven (7) days in advance. For assistance, please contact your library or accessibility@aclibrary.org.
