Description

We’re All Plastic People Now is an Emmy Award–winning documentary that examines the invisible but pervasive role plastic plays in our everyday lives and in our bodies. Plastic is in the air we breathe and the water we drink. In an era of convenience and disposability, its long-term consequences are only now coming into focus. Scientists have found chemicals derived from plastic in human blood, breast milk, developing wombs, and vital organs, including the brain and heart. In this groundbreaking film, the producer takes the unprecedented step of testing their own blood alongside that of four generations of family members for plastic-derived chemicals. The results are both personal and alarming, offering a powerful entry point into a global conversation on environmental and public health.

Following the screening, we will host a facilitated Q&A discussion, giving attendees an opportunity to reflect on the film, ask questions, and explore how individual and community actions can make a difference.
