Events › AARP Tax Assistance @ the Castro Valley Library

The Castro Valley Library begins accepting appointments for FREE AARP Tax Assistance on Monday, January 12, 2025. 

Appointments are available every Wednesday and Thursday, beginning February 5, 2025, through April 10, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. The program, jointly sponsored by the IRS and AARP, provides trained volunteers to assist with most U.S. Federal and California State income tax preparation and e-filing. Appointments are required. Call the Library Information Desk at 510-608-1155 during normal open hours, or sign up in person.

Library staff may take photos, videos, or audio recordings at our events. Please tell us if you do not wish to be photographed, video-recorded, or audio-recorded. We will always respect your requests! 

An ASL (American Sign Language) interpreter or closed captioning can be provided for this program if requested at least seven (7) days in advance. For assistance, please contact your library or accessibility@aclibrary.org.
