So much content is now available on screens. This program is designed to help parents and caregivers establish ways to balance activities for young children, both with and without technology.
The discussion will be facilitated by Pauline Kim, a local educator who teaches computer science for elementary school-aged students.
Following the conversation, there will be a LEGO challenge for kids and adults to explore computer science concepts in a tech-free way!
This program is designed for kids in grades K-3 and their caregivers.
Space is limited. Tickets will be available at the desk 15 minutes before the program starts.
Library staff may take photos, videos, or audio recordings at our events. Please tell us if you do not wish to be photographed, video-recorded, or audio-recorded. We will always respect your requests!
An ASL (American Sign Language) interpreter or closed captioning can be provided for this program if requested at least seven (7) days in advance. For assistance, please contact your library or accessibility@aclibrary.org.
