Fundamentals of Satellites and Rockets

Scientist Hassan Dinesh Ananda (H.D. Ananda) will provide a concise introduction to the scientific principles behind satellite motion and rocket technology. The lecture covers key concepts in physics, orbital mechanics, multi-stage rockets, propulsion systems, and guidance and control. 

The program also highlights real-world applications through case studies such as the Falcon-9 rocket and the Starlink satellite constellation, giving learners a clear and practical understanding of modern space systems.

Hassan Dinesh Ananda (H.D.Ananda) is a retired scientist from Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO). He is a Post graduate degree holder in Physics from Mangalore University and Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Programming from Mysore University. Over the past 15 years, Ananda been a space science guest lecturer in schools and colleges in India. 

Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) is the space agency of India. The organization is involved in science, engineering and technology to harvest the benefits of outer space for India and the mankind. ISRO is a major constituent of the Department of Space (DOS), Government of India. The department executes the Indian Space Programme primarily through various Centers or units within ISRO.
