3D Printing 101

4:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Fremont

Description

Curious about 3D Printing but aren’t sure where to start? Attend an introductory class on 3D printing at The Spark! See our printers in action as they turn digital designs into tangible objects. You’ll learn how they work, and have an opportunity to ask questions of our staff. We’ll show you how you can reserve time to use these printers for free, and you can choose a small preprinted item to take home with you.

This is a lecture and demonstration designed for adults and teens to learn about using our 3D printers. Space is limited to 15 participants. Children 5 & under not admitted. Register to reserve a spot; spots unclaimed 5 minutes after the start will be offered to walk-up participants.

Library staff may take photos, videos, or audio recordings at our events. Please tell us if you do not wish to be photographed, video-recorded, or audio-recorded. We will always respect your requests!

An ASL (American Sign Language) interpreter or closed captioning can be provided for this program if requested at least seven (7) days in advance. For assistance, please contact your library or accessibility@aclibrary.org.
