Open Sew

1:30 PM – 4:30 PM
Fremont

Description

Stop by The Spark on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month to work on your sewing projects. This is not a class, it's just an opportunity to hang out, sew, and get advice if you're stuck! Bring whatever project you're working on.

We have the following equipment and materials available:

  • Sewing machines with various presser feet
  • Black and white all purpose thread
  • Iron and ironing board
  • Scissors and snips
  • Rotary cutter, acrylic rulers and cutting mat
  • Fabric scraps

Registration is not required. Space and sewing machines are limited and available on a first come, first served basis. We can accommodate approximately 8 people using sewing machines at a time. If you would like to use a sewing machine, be sure to sign the waiver ahead of time.

Library staff may take photos, videos, or audio recordings at our events. Please tell us if you do not wish to be photographed, video-recorded, or audio-recorded. We will always respect your requests!
