Calling all young engineers and tech enthusiasts! 

Join us for an exciting robotics workshop hosted by a remarkable local youth robotics team!

Get hands-on experience assembling and programming a robot, guided by the talented Team 76289X Blazing Bees. No prior experience is needed, just bring your enthusiasm and creativity!

See below for the robot featured in each workshop. Seats are limited. To give more kids a chance to participate, each child may attend only one workshop. A ticket is required, and tickets will be distributed starting at 10:15 a.m. Participants must be present to receive a ticket.

  • October 11th, 2025 - Robot Pac-Man: Build a base bot and join a Pac-Man game.
  • April 25th, 2026 - Catapult: Build a catapult robot that launches objects using gears, rubber bands, and motors. Learn how simple machines and energy help things fly through the air!
  • May 9th, 2026 - Crawling Monster: Meet the Crawling Monster, a robot that crawls across the floor like a real creature. It uses sensors and motors to move and avoid obstacles.

An ASL (American Sign Language) interpreter or closed captioning can be provided for this program if requested at least seven (7) business days in advance. For assistance, please contact your library or accessibility@aclibrary.org.
