Your assignment: bring back one story or one photograph from your Thanksgiving holiday, however and with whomever you observe it. We’ll gather to share these stories so they can help shape the Portrait of Albany exhibition that will go up in January.
Portrait of Albany is participatory art and storytelling project, culminating in an installation about the people of Albany at the Community Center.
Sponsored by the City of Albany's Creative Justice Art program and Albany Library.
Library staff may take photos, videos, or audio recordings at our events. Please tell us if you do not wish to be photographed, video-recorded, or audio-recorded. We will always respect your requests!
An ASL (American Sign Language) interpreter or closed captioning can be provided for this program if requested at least seven (7) days in advance. For assistance, please contact your library or accessibility@aclibrary.org.
