Kids Yoga Camp

5:00 PM – 5:45 PM
Union City

Description

Join our engaging yoga class designed for kids aged 7-12! Each session explores a unique theme such as concentration, flexibility, and more. We teach asanas (poses), breathing, and relaxation techniques in easy-to-understand terms.

Introducing kids to the practice of yoga from a young age has enormous benefits for their physical, mental, and emotional health, developing body awareness, strength, and focus. The sessions will be taught by Manya, a high school student who has been learning Hatha yoga for over a decade. Rathna Noojbail, an experienced yoga/meditation teacher and yoga therapist, will be present to oversee each session.

Please note: Bring your own yoga mat or towel. This program is first come, first served. Space is limited, so please do come on time.

Library staff may take photos, videos, or audio recordings at our events. Please tell us if you do not wish to be photographed, video-recorded, or audio-recorded. We will always respect your requests!

An ASL (American Sign Language) interpreter or closed captioning can be provided for this program if requested at least seven (7) days in advance. For assistance, please contact your library or accessibility@aclibrary.org.
