Events › Music Jam Session

Join us for summer music jam - for middle school and high school students only.

Inspired by our own school band directors, we will play some of your favorite music recordings and play along on our instruments.  

It's not as hard as it might sound (pun intended!) and can be tons of fun! 

This is a chance to try new instruments or learn to improvise on your own instrument.   

Feel free to bring your own instrument.

The library will provide: 

• keyboard
• electric guitar
  
• electric bass
• Roland electronic drum set
• Alessis electronic percussion strikepad
• Boomwhackers
• other hand drums

Library staff may take photos, videos, or audio recordings at our events. Please tell us if you do not wish to be photographed, video-recorded, or audio-recorded. We will always respect your requests! 

An ASL (American Sign Language) interpreter or closed captioning can be provided for this program if requested at least seven (7) days in advance. For assistance, please contact your library or accessibility@aclibrary.org.
