Debate 101

1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Castro Valley

Description

Debate 101 is a free summer program for aspiring debaters who have an interest in public forum debate. Join us for this 4 week program as rising 7th, 8th, and 9th graders are invited to learn everything from public speaking skills to delivering speeches clearly and effectively, to mastering the art of debate.  Please note, by signing up for this event you are committing to a 4 week program

This 4 week series will culminate in a trio of mock debates geared towards putting the skills learned in these courses to the test.

No debate experience is needed as this program's curriculum is designed for beginners

To learn more about the program, we will be holding an online information session on June 1st and June 7th at 7:30pm (link below)
