Celebrate Dia by creating your own bookmark!

The craft will only take 15-30 minutes to complete. Drop in any time during the program time frame to make the craft at your own pace. Children under 8 will need a caretaker to assist them with the craft.

Día, short for Día de los niños/Día de los libros (Children's Day/Book Day), is held on April 30 and is a celebration of children and literacy. Día recognizes that children come from various backgrounds, cultures, languages, and abilities, and their books should reflect this.

An ASL (American Sign Language) interpreter or closed captioning can be provided for this program if requested at least seven (7) business days in advance. For assistance, please contact your library or accessibility@aclibrary.org
