Are you a high schooler getting ready to take the SAT?
Join us for a series of math workshops focused on preparing for the math SAT section. Each workshop will focus on different math subject areas, covering a range of math topics.
March 15: Algebraic Equations
April 5: Working with Advanced Math
April 26: Data Analysis Practice
This workshop series is presented by a local teen who is a tutor on Schoolhouse.world (Khan Academy) and obtained a near perfect SAT math score.
Participants will have the opportunity to solve equations independently and then review together as a group to discuss problem-solving strategies.
A laptop and graphing calculator will be required in order to fully participate in this program. The library will have laptops and online calculators available for use; however, the use of personal devices is encouraged.
This is a drop-in program. Space is limited to 20 participants.
Library staff may take photos, videos, or audio recordings at our events. Please tell us if you do not wish to be photographed, video-recorded, or audio-recorded. We will always respect your requests!
An ASL (American Sign Language) interpreter or closed captioning can be provided for this program if requested at least seven (7) days in advance. For assistance, please contact your library or accessibility@aclibrary.org.
