Join Ms. Cynthia for a creative Lunar New Year Workshop! Discover the zodiac, festive foods, red envelopes, lanterns, and other celebration activities. Children will learn to read key phrases like "Happy New Year," "Gold Ingots," and “Firecrackers" in Chinese, gaining a deeper understanding of these auspicious symbols.

Workshop Highlight: Kids will create their very own “Lucky Bottle,” writing the character “福” (blessing) with a modern brush pen to add a festive touch. This handmade craft allows them to bring their creativity and good wishes home, adding warmth and joy to their Lunar New Year celebrations!

This program is designed for children ages 7-12. 

Registration is not required, but space is limited. First come, first served.

Library staff may take photos, videos, or audio recordings at our events. Please tell us if you do not wish to be photographed, video-recorded, or audio-recorded. We will always respect your requests!
