Description

Need help learning how to use a computer? Attend our Computer Connections classes and feel empowered to use a computer independently.

No prior computer skills are necessary. You will learn essential computer and software skills for use in every day life, including:

  • How use a computer
  • Internet basics
  • Understanding and using email
  • Limited help with phones and tablets.
  • Accessing Library Apps
  • Basics for Microsoft programs like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Introduction to social media
  • How to search for job openings online
  • Referral information about more advanced classes offered in the community.

You do not need to own a computer/laptop to participate, but you are welcome to bring your laptop with you.

Drop-ins are welcome, when space is available.




An ASL (American Sign Language) interpreter or closed captioning can be provided for this program if requested at least three business days in advance. For assistance, please contact your library or accessibility@aclibrary.org.
