Events › Learn How to Use a Sewing Machine

Join us in learning sewing machine basics! Things such as threading the machine, starting and finishing a stitch, and practicing sewing straight lines. We will make a small bag with handles and with lining. We will provide all materials but you are welcome to bring your own fabric (1.5 yards) if you desire. Sewing machines and other materials will be provided. We will be working 2 to a machine but if you have a home sewing machine that you are trying to get familiar with, you are welcome to bring it. Please bring only fully functional machines.

This program is intended for ages 12 and older. No registration is required. The workshop will be first-come, first-serve, as space and materials are limited. Tickets will be given out at the front desk starting 15 minutes prior to the event.
