Events › Novel Slayers: Book Club for Grades 5 & 6

Calling all book lovers in Grades 5 & 6 to join the Novel Slayers Book Club!

If you love reading books, and discussing them with a group, then this is the place for you! 

This program will be facilitated by an adult volunteer from Read to Thrive and kids get to discuss the book for the month in a welcoming environment.  We will meet on the fourth Thursday of each month.

The book for discussion will be available for pick up at the Service Desk, a month before the meeting date. For the first meeting in February 2024, the book is available starting Jan 2024. 

Once the monthly book club meetings start, please bring your Alameda County Library Card to the book club meeting so you can check out a copy of next month's book.

An ASL (American Sign Language) interpreter or closed captioning can be provided for this program if requested at least 7 business days in advance. For assistance, please contact your library or accessibility@aclibrary.org.
