Arts and Crafts at the Albany Library─ Squeegee Art, Session One

2:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Albany

Description

A squeegee and acrylic paint can help you become an artist on Saturday, September 16th. Come to one of our two sessions on Saturday, September 16th, and we will show you how.

  • Session (1): 2 PM – 3 PM.
  • Session (2): 3:15 PM – 4:15 PM.

Albany Library features several programs that hope to increase attendees' interest in arts and crafts. All programs require no training. Just a desire to create unique art pieces by following simple instructions and use of everyday supplies. Attendees will find this art form fun and unique, and it will take 10 minutes or less. However, the artwork may need 20 minutes to dry.

Program Success Depends on:

  • All attendees registering for the program. For example, if you bring 3 other people to a program, then you will need to reserve 4 places. Why? Without accurate attendance information, we cannot order enough supplies for all attendees to participate.
  • What you will be provided? You will be provided with enough supplies to create 2 projects. Individuals wanting to make more than 2 art pieces will need to bring additional supplies for those items. You will be emailed a project supply list two-days before the event occurs.
  • Time: Last, it will also be important that you arrive on time for the program.

All library programs are free. Challenges with registering for this event. Please ask reference for assistance.
