The Albany Library presents unique feature movies at the Edith Stone Room. The movies reflect genres that expose attendees to different cultures, documentaries, history, philosophies, political views, gender and age issues, superheroes, cartoons, and more. Attendees will be routinely asked to give their feedback on movies; so, we know how to expand or limit our movie offerings for their enjoyment.


BLACK PANTHER: WAKANDA FOREVER.  Synopsis-- Queen Ramonda, Shuri, M'Baku, Okoye and the Dora Milaje fight to protect their nation from intervening world powers in the wake of King T'Challa's death. As the Wakandans strive to embrace their next chapter, the heroes must band together with the help of War Dog Nakia and Everett Ross and forge a new path for the kingdom of Wakanda. Awards: Nominated for Academy Awards for Best Movie 2023.
