Come join us for stories, songs, and fun! Drag Queen Story Hour is a great opportunity for kids to meet a LGBTQ+ role model. This storytime is designed for preschool aged children. However, all are welcome.
Panda Dulce is a Queer Chinese American Drag Queen Story Hour program founding queen who loves makeup, playing the ukulele and reading books. Her favorite foods are pizza and ice cream (but please don't make her decide between the two)! Her favorite color is seafoam green, and her favorite children's books are "She Wanted To Be Haunted" by Marcus Ewert and "Neither" by Arlie Anderson.
We request that parents remain present and engage with their children during the program as we learn and explore together!
You must register to be guaranteed a spot. Please register only your child. Mostly likely, we will be able to accommodate some walk-ins day of as long as we are under capacity.
Currently, this program is scheduled to take place at the San Lorenzo Library. Masks and social distancing are required per Alameda County Library. In the event of increased virus prevention restrictions by Alameda County Public Health, this event may be moved online, and all registrants will be sent a Zoom link to participate.
We at ACLibrary care about your privacy. We use Zoom to host our virtual programs. None of our live programs are recorded and none of the chat logs are saved. Everyone registered for an online program will receive the link to participate in a separate email before the program begins.
An ASL (American Sign Language) interpreter or closed captioning can be provided for this program if requested at least three business days in advance. For assistance, please contact your library or accessibility@aclibrary.org.
