Interested in learning more about our beloved planet’s declining health and how to help make it better? Join Girl Scout and rising senior high school student Avani as she presents “Life In The Garden” at Alameda County Library.
Participants that attend the presentation will learn about Environmental Science (climate change, environmental degradation, and sustainability) using a garden ecosystem theme. As they learn through a combination of engaging lecture sessions, collaborative discussion sessions, and fun activity sessions (ex. a Kahoot and an escape room), students will be guided to think about at least one thing they can change in their daily routine to live a more sustainable life.
After going through the presentation, students will be more informed about the health of our planet and will hopefully spread their newly-attained knowledge to friends and family.
