EventsCommunity Helpers - Doctor

Community Helpers - Doctor

10:30 AM – 11:30 AM

Description

Learn about the helpers in your community by meeting them virtually. Our community helper guest speakers will talk about their jobs and answer your questions.

Have you ever wondered what a doctor does all day at work? This is your chance to find out. We'll learn about how much school it takes to become a doctor, which different specialties they can have, and what a typical day of work is like - and much more! Our guest speaker will be Dr. Cakouros, a retired doctor from Pennsylvania.

We at ACLibrary care about your privacy. We use Zoom to host our virtual programs. None of our live programs are recorded and none of the chat logs are saved. Everyone registered for an online program will receive the link to participate in a separate email before the program begins.

An ASL (American Sign Language) interpreter or closed captioning can be provided for this program if requested at least three business days in advance. For assistance, please contact your library or accessibility@aclibrary.org.
