Summer Coding Club: Introduction to Scratch and Python

10:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Description

This is an introductory class designed for kids in grades 3-6 who are new to coding. In this 5-week fun-filled course, kids will learn the basics of Scratch and Python programming.

Join us on Fridays, starting June 18th through July 23rd, 2021. No class on July 2nd.

Students must join Zoom via their laptop and attend all 5 sessions. Space is limited and fills up quickly. Please register with the student's name, not the parent's.

Zoom link will be sent 3 days before the first class.

Note to Registered Students: you must be in the Zoom waiting room 5 minutes BEFORE class starts on the first day or your seat may be canceled and released to the waiting list. Make sure your name matches the registration before you hit the "join" button.

Note to Waitlisted students: you will receive an email notification around 10:00 AM on the day of the first class if a seat becomes available for you. You will then have 10 minutes to log in to confirm your seat.

We at AC Library care about your privacy. We use Zoom to host our virtual programs. None of our live programs are recorded and none of the chat logs are saved.

An ASL (American Sign Language) interpreter will be provided for this program if requested at least 7 days in advance. For assistance, please contact your library or accessibility@aclibrary.org.
