STEM Crafts: Make a Straw Plane

Description

Let's do some hands-on science experiments! Can you construct a paper flier using 2 rectangles of paper and a straw? Find out how far your flying machine can glide and modify it to see if you can improve your design. 

This program is best for ages 6-9. Younger children may need an adult to help them.

Supplies Needed:

  • Piece of card stock
  • Ruler
  • Scissors
  • Tape
  • Drinking straw
