BYO Book Club: Black History Month

7:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Description

Books are a way to connect with the world and with each other!

We will celebrate by sharing books about Black families, Black communities, and Black history. All genres of books on these themes are welcome - choose any book that is meaningful to you. If you would like some ideas, you can choose a title from our book club list.

How does the Bring Your Own Book (BYOB) Club work? Participants take turns sharing a book of their choosing on a particular theme and why it is meaningful to them. Library staff will highlight resources from our collection and moderate a discussion. Bring a book to share and join the discussion; the atmosphere is informal. Listeners are welcome!
