Alameda County Reads is a new program that celebrates our communities, our connections, and ourselves, by encouraging a thoughtful exchange of ideas through the joy of reading together.
Our book selection is Eat Joy, a collection of personal essays and recipes from some of our best writers who share how comfort food flavored important moments in their lives. Learn more about the book and the program.
