This program is recommended for kids in 4th-8th grades.
This is an interactive introductory course for students who are keen to learn the foundations of computer science using the Python language. Prior coding experience is not required to attend this class.
Students will learn the following modules to create engaging FUN projects using Python.
1. Beginning in Computer Science
2. Number Calculations and data
3. Making decisions
4. Repetitions with loops
You will need a home computer or laptop to participate in this program.
This class is held online every Saturday from Jan.30 through March 27, 2021. Students are expected to attend all the classes. The registration is for the entire course of 9 classes. Zoom meeting information will be sent via a separate email.
Note to confirmed registrants:
Please be on time for the classes. Your seat for the entire course will be canceled and released to the next student on the waiting list if you are more than 15 minutes late for the first class.
Note to waitlisted students:
Please check your email 20 minutes after the first class starts (2:50 pm) as we will be releasing seats from absent registrants at that time. You will receive an email notification with login information if there is a seat for you. You'll have 10 minutes to log in to confirm your seat.
