This session is part of Alameda County Reads! Learn more about the county-wide event below.
Are you wondering what to do with the mystery spices that appeared in your pantry? Looking for new recipes and cookbook recommendations? Want to talk to others about cooking? We have the program for you!
During What’s Cooking with the Library, we’ll talk about different aspects of cooking like pantry basics, ways to substitute those harder to find ingredients, and even cook simple recipes on-stream (we’ll let you know what the ingredients are ahead of time so you can cook with us!).
We're still figuring out what we're cooking this week; check back soon!
Registration closes 1 day before the program. Your Zoom link will be sent to you via email on the morning of the program.
Alameda County Reads is a new program that celebrates our communities, our connections, and ourselves, by encouraging a thoughtful exchange of ideas through the joy of reading together.
Our book selection is Eat Joy, a collection of personal essays and recipes from some of our best writers who share how comfort food flavored important moments in their lives. Learn more about the book and the program.
We at AC Library care about your privacy. We use Zoom to host our virtual programs. None of our live programs are recorded and none of the chat logs are saved.
An ASL (American Sign Language) interpreter will be provided for this program if requested at least 7 days in advance. For assistance, please contact your library or email@example.com.
